Passenger Counters

Passenger Counters

The Passenger Counter is a system comprised of one or more sensors that record, in real-time, the number of passengers entering or exiting a vehicle. The system can be easily expanded with additional sensors and can be discreetly mounted in almost any location. It is capable of recording multiple individuals simultaneously and can be installed in various types of vehicles, including buses and trains.

Why Choose Passenger Counters?

The Passenger Counter equips you with essential data to enhance your business operations. With up-to-date information on the number of passengers using a specific vehicle, you can:
  • Plan investments and infrastructure improvements
  • Monitor and analyze trends in passenger traffic
  • Assess the impact of traffic disturbances
  • Identify bottlenecks and problem areas
  • Plan service frequencies and routes

Who is it for?

As you can see, this type of data is incredibly valuable. Organizations that utilize this information include:

  • Public transport
  • Bus transport
  • Railway transport

Simplicity

A sensor installed in the vehicle door registers each passage, capturing the direction and time of entry. This data is then sent to our server cluster, where it is processed and displayed through a web application. The system is built on modular components developed in-house, allowing for excellent adjustability and efficiency. Since all components are wireless, you simply need to connect the sensor to the nearest power outlet. If there is no electricity available, all components can be powered by a battery or solar cell.
